Tips for reducing STRESS!
Ok, I have to give credit where credit is due. I am reposting this post by Kate Buck, Jr of KBJonline. She has pooled together some great tips for reducing stress and I think it is worth a repost. Enjoy:
I’ve been thinking lately about how I can reduce stress in my life. And then I got this email in my Inbox this morning.
I can honestly say that I think this system will work better than any 12-Step Program. Some of the tips, I have been using already and didn’t even know it! Here are a few ways to maintain a healthy level of insanity:
1. At lunch time, sit in your parked car with sunglasses on and point a hair dryer at passing cars. See if they slow down.
2. Page yourself over the intercom! Don’t disguise your your voice.
3. Every time someone asks you to do something, ask if they want fries with that.
4. Put decaf in the coffee maker for 3 weeks at the office. Once everyone has gotten over their caffeine addiction, switch to espresso. [I am personally not a fan of this tip, as I work from home, so I'd know what was going on, and I can GUARANTEE you, I would not be a happy camper.]
5. In the memo field of all your checks, write, “for marijuana”.
6. Skip down the hall rather than walk. See how many looks you get. [I already practice this tip religiously, and HIGHLY recommend it. If your feeling extra snappy, pirouettes and jetes are great additions to your routine. Can't help it, I'm a dancer.]
7. Order a diet water whenever you go out to eat, with a serious face. [With a lemon!!]
8. Specify that your drive-thru order is “To Go”.
9. Sing along at the opera. [I am a fan of singing along with ANY/ALL music as often as possible!]
10. Five days in advance, tell your friends you can’t attend their party because you have a headache.
11. When The Money Comes Out The ATM, Scream ‘ I Won! I Won!’ [This will make you feel like you've won the lotto each time you go to the bank!]
12. When leaving the zoo, start running towards the parking lot, yelling, “Run for your lives! They’re Loose!”
13. Tell your children over dinner, “Due to the economy, we are going to have to let one of you go.”
14. Pick up a box of condoms at the pharmacy. Go to the counter and ask, “Where is the fitting room?” [This works especially well for women.]
In conclusion, the lesson of the day is: MIX IT UP & HAVE SOME FUN!!
What are YOUR best Tips for Reducing Stress?
Why your business needs Social Media Management
In the ever changing world of technology, it is difficult to balance information on what’s new, what’s old, what is good, what is bad, how can this product help me…etc. The amount of information and new technologies can be mind boggling. Now, let’s add the stress of keeping up with all that knowledge to planning your Social Media Marketing campaign for your business or organization. On top of all the other things you are having to juggle, you now have to decide which programs, apps, and strategies to use in an ever changing market. Wow. This can be another full time job just by itself. Talk about overload.
This is where hiring a Social Media Management company can come into focus. As a business that is focused on Social Media, they can stay on top of what is trending, what works for different clients and how to put a package together to best optimize your campaign goals. This management organization can follow your multiple accounts, keeping them in sync with each other and take care of all the clutter that can accumulate over Social Media, so that you can focus on what you do best, providing your service to your clients. It doesn’t matter whether your business is currently online or not. If you plan on continuing to succeed, you must begin building a presence online. I can assure you that your competition is.
Another great reason for hiring a Social Media Management group, is that everything is trending toward social media. The search engine companies are even changing their search algorithms so that Social Media has a majority of the influence over the search results. So if you don’t have a Social Media Platform, your standings in the search results WILL drop dramatically in the coming weeks and months. This reason alone is enough to get involved with Social Media Marketing.
Hiring a Social Media Marketing company can seem daunting at first, when you look at the perceived expense involved, but if you really look at the numbers, it is truly a savings. A marketing company can do for you in a few hours each day, what would take a full time employee all week to do alone. When you weigh the expense of another full time employee, plus benefits and taxes, a Social Media Marketing company is definitely the way to go. Plus, they specialize in this platform and you can be assured that you are getting the most out of your Social Media Marketing campaign.
In the end, the businesses with the best Social Media Campaigns are the ones that are going to thrive in this new electronic global economy. They are the ones that people are going to see in the search results and ultimately begin to grab larger chunks of the revenue share. So don’t waste your time trying to figure out what will work and what won’t for your company. Go ahead and hire a Social Media Management group and let them get your company on the road to success.
